I am the sole owner and the master of a fishing

Junk No.2246 A.D. The junk is licensed in my name and of

2882 piculs in capacity. The licence entitles me to possess

9 cannons, 100 lbs of bullets, 100 lbs of gunpowder, 3

rifles and 100 rounds for same.

The YU WO TCNG Company employs me and my junk with

a complete crew to watch their oyster beds off LAU FAU

SHAN at a monthly rate of $180.00 (Hong Kong). I also do a

little fishing in the vicinity.

un the 24th Cctober, 1939, at about 21.00 hours

I was fishing about 1000 Chinese feet (witness pointed out

a grot aproximately 700 to 800 yards away when asked to do

so, at Tai Po Folice station when making statement), from

LAU FAU SHAN in Deeo bay.

At that time it was full moon, but a little cloudy.

Visibility was good, I could distinguish the houses at

LAU PAU SHAN with a naked eye, and with my binoculars could

see FING SHAN Police Station (about 3 miles distant)
